Synopsis
In a very subtle and poetical way, the director Laís Bodanzky conducts the spectator’s view through rhythmic streets and boulevards, where the steps seem to diverge from reality itself.
But these paths, one day, won’t be the same any longer...
History
With the invitation of the Cine Favela of Cinema Festival - considered the biggest peripheral cinema festival in the world, Laís Bodanzky directed the short filme One sole note.
On the Festival 7th edtition, which had “Latin America” as its main theme, was born the meeting between the movie maker and the Argentinian writer Pablo José Meza – who lead a workshop for 25 young people – mostly dwellers of Heliópolis - at SESC Ipiranga. This people have contributed with the concept of the screenplay of this film.
In this short film, we can see actors who were selected from the inside of the Heliópolis community, in São Paulo, among them, two young music students of the famous Baccarelli Institute.
