Synopsis
The movie maker Laís Bodanzky is part of the team who gave life to Invisible World, a film made by twelve of the biggest movie makers in the world, such as: Win Wenders, Atom Egoyan e Manoel de Oliveira, with the invitation from São Paulo International Cinema exibition.
Laís was in charge of the segment named The Invisible Being, about Yoshi Oida, the Japanese creator of the concept of the “invisible actor”, through which the actor has a great performance when the spectators are not able to see him acting.
Mixing art and documentary, the movie investigates the work of the actor with interviews like Monja Coen’s, Cássia Kis Magro’s and performances like the ones of the actor Lee Thalor.
History
INVISIBLE WORLD is a motion picture that shows distinct perceptions about the invisibility of the contemporary world. From the original concept of the jounalist Serginho Groisman and directed by Leon Cakoff and Renata Almeida, important worldwide participants bring different ideas to the movie, shown in different aspects.
The movie took part of the Rome Festival (2012) and the 36th International Exhibition of São Paulo (2012).
